1、March 4th Friday Sunny
After school this afternoon, on my way home I met two American friends who lost their way. They forgot the way to the hotel where they stayed. As I knew where the hotel was, I decided to take them there. On the road, we talked a lot. I told them about the great changes in the city,such as the wider road, the more convenient transportation, the fresher air and so on. I also introduced that now Chinese students needn‘t spend most of their time on textbooks any more, because they didn‘t have as much homework as before. In their spare time, they could choose whatover they like to learn. The American friends told me something about the American youth as well.
It was late when I got home, but I was very happy. Because I not only helped American friends, but also realized the importance of learning a foreign language well.

今天下午在放学回家的路上，我遇见两个迷路的美国朋友。他们忘记了去他们住的旅馆的路。我知道那家旅馆在哪儿，所以决定给他们带路。在路上，我们谈了很多。我介绍了家乡的巨大变化，比如马路更宽敞了，交通更方便了，空气更新鲜了等等。我还介绍说现在中国学生不必再把大部分时间花在课本上。他们的'作业不像以前那么多了。在空闲时间里，他们可以选择任何喜欢的东西来学习。美国朋友也告诉了我一些美国年轻人的情况。
虽然我到家晚了，但是我很高兴。因为我不仅帮助了美国朋友，而且也认识到学好外语的重要性。

As I knew where the hotel was, I decided to take them there. On the road I told them that the city had changed a lot. And I also introduced that now Chinese students needn‘t spend most of their time on textbooks any more. Chinese students had more free time. In their spare time, they could develop their own interests and take part in some social activities. The American friends told me something about the American youth as well. I enlarged my knowledge of American youth.
Although it was late when I arrived home, I was really very happy.Because I not only helped American friends out of trouble, but also realized how important it was to learn a foreign language well.

My Life on Campus Is Interesting The Classroom, Canteen, Dormitory, and Library constitute my whole life on campus. Many classmates often say to me, “Your life on campus must be so boring and monotonous!” I don't deny that it really used to be; but now I have found it is interesting. When I was a freshman, everything on campus was new to me in this strange environment. I felt so perplexed. I always heard words in my head that said, “The only person you can depend on is yourself.” Actually, on campus you have many choices in which to spend your daily life; such as Games online, Sports, Shopping, Studying, and so on.
Of course, different people have different interests. As for me, I had the same thoughts as many college students. I was old enough to control my time. The hellish middle school has passed and it was time to have fun. I went online every day, meeting the same people and chatting the same topics. I watched the same movies so many times that I knew the plot without watching the ending. A month later, my eyesight was becoming weaker, my head ached, and my ears had a continual ringing sound. I had a feeling that I was going to die. Truly I was afraid that it was going to happen. I lost my enthusiasm for those activities.
Then I accompanied several friends shopping, bought what I needed, and ate what I wanted. After going back to my room, I lay in bed recalling what I had done. Amazingly, besides some fashionable clothes and delicious food I was only tired. “Is that all there is to life?” I asked myself. My soul answered “No!” I awakened from a long dream and one year had past. People always say “If you can defeat yourself, you are the final winner.” I was enlightened by that thought and I began to regard myself as the enemy and took study as the weapon and the library as my battlefield. However, the weapon was too heavy and the battlefield was too quiet.
I suffered much during that time. Yet fortunately, I stuck to it, went through the darkest times, and I have now seen the dawn. Where there was pain, now there's joy; where there was weakness, I found strength. Classroom, a place where I can excel, interact with teachers and students, and I can absorb as much knowledge as is possible. The Canteen provides me energy so I can keep fit. The Dormitory provides good sleep where I can travel in my dreams.
The Library is a large battery where I can recharge myself. All things work together. I am enriched; therefore, my life on campus is very interesting。

i don't agree with this point.
first,as we all know,the competition among the students become more and more stiff, and usually a family put their all hope on their only child ,and going into a good university is a very important thing to a student even to the family,because it means the child can get a good future.if a student can go to a university without taking any entrance examination, that's too unfair to others.
second ,i very doubt the reason of a celebrate can be admitted to a university without text, why? how can he be different with others? just because he is famouse?why not anyother's student who has great telant can be admitted to a university by free?
