Good morning! Today, the title of my speech is A Lesson from Nature.
Around us,there are plants, animals and many other live in nature,so to keep the balance of nature is very important for today, too many trees are still being cut down in many countries and flood all over the world are getting more and more serious,A lot of land has gone with is a lesson from nature.
When people move into a new place, they often cut down trees or pull out many wild plants to make don’t know that trees can stop flood and wind from washing or blowing the earth away, and that many of these wild plants are food for some wild the animals can’t find enough plants to eat, they will die or have to leave the place.
In one part of the United States, for example, the deer there like to eat a kind of wild mountain tigers there eat the people killed many mountain tigers to protect the there were so many deer that the ate up all the wild the deer began to eat the green leaves of the young trees the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees, then the deer had nothing to eat and many of them died.
The number of trees, deer, tigers, wild flowers and plants has changed much—less and need to do more to keep the balance of nature.
Thank you!

We Are The World ,We Are The FutureSomeone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all. We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind.
Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. And from now on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”

when I finally arrived on campus, I was in for a surprise. In fact, I was stunned. I had never before in my life felt poor. As a scholarship student, suddenly, I was surrounded by people who were so astoundingly rich! I was also fascinated by this and other differences – different faiths, politics, ethnicities, and culture.
And sure, at times it was uncomfortable. There were many moments I just wanted to turn around and go back home to my mother’s warm embrace – and also her great home cooking!
And like every one of you…every one of you, I made the best, most important choice of my life: I would pick up the threads of differences to weave myself a new community.
This would become my cause, my mission, my identity. I had found my purpose, rooted in beloved community.
I was inspired by the work of Dr. Martin Luther King. He called upon us all to embrace inclusion, love, and justice. He preached the soul force of nonviolent protest.
He warned against the perils of tribalism, of clinging to the familiar and holding sacred the status quo.
King famously addressed his…go ahead…he famously addressed his “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” not to his jailers, but to his “fellow clergymen.”
He challenged them to reject the status quo. In King’s words, we find the essence of beloved community, recognizing that: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

Good afternoon! My dear teachers and friends. My name is Li Wenwen.I’m fourteen years old.In class 8,grade 1.
Different people has different dreams. Someone wants to be a doctor. Someone wants to be a basketball player, because he is good at sports. Someone wants to be a writer, because he likes writing. Someone wants to be a teacher because he likes teaching children.
What do I want to do when I’m older?
You see,I like playing the piano and I am good at it. So I want to become a piano player.(pianist). Playing the piano is very interesting. And you can learn something of music. Piano can make your life beautiful and happy. Your life is full of music. A lot of musicians and singers love playing the pianos.
I could play the piano when I was ten years old. All of my teachers and my classmates say I can play the piano very well. I have got Grand Five . I hope when I’m sixteen years old , I can get Grand Eight.
Now I’m a middle school student. There are many things at school. Sometimes ,I have no time to play the piano. But,I’ll still be harder and harder to practise. The youngest pianoist, Langlang is my idol. He is such a great pianoist.I hope I can be a pianoist like him.
I know becoming a piano is a hard . But I believe I can do it. There is a will, there is a way. My dream will come ture one day. Believe me! Thank you!

In my 18 years of life, there have been many things. University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.
After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.
Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now Ive benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.
Learning is a long process; Ill keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare.
Besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. I do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic.
Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. The majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day theyll become outstanding. But there are indeed some students still under ignorance. They gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards. Theyre busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland.
Finally, I do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country. I do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society!

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I’m Li Xin, from Class 8 Grade 1. Today, my topic is, “What can I do for Beijing Olympic Games?”
I am looking forward to the day’s coming--- August eighth 20xx, the day Beijing Olympic Games will be open, the day sports families gather in Beijing, and the day all the Chinese feel proud.
As a little host, I really want to be a volunteer. However, I am too young, but I can still do something for it.
Firstly, as a Chinese, I will welcome every friend from every part of the world. My smile will show my friendship, and the foreign friends are sure to know Beijing better from the smile on my face.
Next, I will study English harder. During the Olympic Games, I can communicate with the foreign friends in English and serve for them, such as to be an interpreter, to show them the way, and let them love Beijing more from my kind help.
Thirdly, I will learn more knowledge about Beijing and the Olympic Games. In this way, I canintroduce beautiful Beijing to foreign guests --- its long history, latest development and the wonderful future. Further more, I’ll try to let them know more about our country by introducing Chinese 5,000—year old history to them.
At last, I will call on every student around me to learn good manners and treasure our only home---the earth. From now on, we should do what we can for the Beijing Olympic Games, making it a real Green Olympics, humanities Olympics, technology Olympics!
“One world, One dream.” I hope my dream will also come true!
Thanks for your listening!

Everyone has a lot of dreams. Some people want to be rich, dreaming ofbeing millionaires overnight.
Others want to be famous, dreaming of suddenlyjumping to great fame. I have a lot of dreams, too. When I was a young girl,Idreamed of being a scientist like Hua Imogen in future. However,I knew verywell that I could not succeed without painstaking efforts.
So I studied hard inthe middle school and college in order to attain my goal.
After graduating from, college,I found a job as a teacher. Although I wasvery busy with teaching,I never gave up my goal. I read a lot of books to getmore knowledge. I made experiments to practise and apply what I had learnt fromthe books. Sometimes,I was so deeply indulged in my research that I forgot mymeals and time. Now I have made great progress.
Several of my research papershave been published. The methods proposed in my papers have been proven to bevaluable for the solution of some problems. I am very happy. The ladder of beinga scientist is still far ahead, but I have climbed the first rung anyway.
