Book Report
The Little Prince which written by Antoine De Saint-Exupery tells a story including the little prince travels to several stars in universe.The author stressed main topic of book by the communications between the little prince and different grown-ups in different stars.In other words,the novel exposes some babd things for adult nature through the clear perception which only a little boy can have.
Now let me relate summaries of the plots to you.At first ,the little prince meets the narrator of the novel,apilot,and the little prince shares something about his star with the pilot. We can see that the little prince is very innocent and loves his rose who loves the little prince too.Then what we can know is that the little prince passes the king’s star,the conceited man’s star the tippler’s star,the businessman’s star,the geographer’s star,the lamplighter’s star successively.Eventually,he arrives at earth and makes friends with the snake and fox.The little prince makes a deep impression on the pilot so that the pilot still thinks of him frequently after his sudden disappearance.We all can realize that some adults are formalist,blind,conceited,utilitarian,false,selfish, numb and perplexed from the experiences of the littleprince.It seems that people stop the pursuit of truth,virtue and beauty but the little prince doesn’t stop it.
There is no doubt that the hero is the little prince.The little prince is an embodiment of true,virtue and beauty.He is an extremely positive role.He mentions his rose and his volcanoes a lot of times during his journey which is from B-612 to earth.That means his sincere affection for his rose and his longing for homeland.Meanwhile,the little prince shows his kindness as he gets along with the pilot,thesnake,the fox and different adults.The little prince gives his honest advice after he knows different people’s strange activities.Forexample,the little prince would like to help lamplighter to extricate him from a difficult position,so he talks to lamplighter“Your planet is so small that three strides will take you all the way around it.To be always in the sunshine,you need only walk along rather slowly.When you want to rest,you will walk and the day will last as long as you like.”Although the advice doesn’t do the lamplighter much good because what the lamplighter wants is to sleep.However,the sincerity and the concern the little prince has make people’s heart feel warm.In the meantime,the little prince unfold his deep love for nature through his idea.Forexample,the novel mentions that“what the little prince did not dare confess was that he was sorry most of all to leave this planet,because it was blest every day

Before and after the little prince visited six planets, the cruelty of the plexity of the human world and real life are the little prince cannot get the satisfactory answer of question raised by him, so he felt sad, even cry bitterly. Later, the little prince knew fox and became a good friend with the fox. The fox also kept his secret and the "invisible nature of things that only the heart can see as a gift to the little prince."
Finally, the little prince, with the help of a viper, left earth and returned to his B612 asteroid.
The book, "once a children's adult," is not only filled with love-hate emotions but also the brilliance of philosophy. It is a kind of thing, and the adults are used to seeing it rationally, and children tend to start from the heart.
So adults never understand children's world. I think the little prince will e back again when the world is full of love and warmth.

Sometimes we choose life，but this life belongs to others. If we once did it，we would be terrible grown-ups——mixing everything up together，confusing everything，and all day just say that“I’m busy with matters of consequence. ” I don’t want to be that kind of person！Why not choose life of my own？
Every time I’m reading the story，the idea becomes more and more strong. Nothing is meaningful unless you put your love in it.
The little prince lives in the planet B-612 that isn’t any larger than a house. His life is simply with joy. One day，a beautiful angel was born among the simple flower that had only one rings of petals. She was totally a miracle at the sunrise. To the little prince，she was a very complex creature. He couldn’t help falling in love with the flower. But，as he said，he was too young to know how to love her. She always pretended to be proud to conceal her love. Then he went away from his planet to search for something he needed. She didn’t blame him or urge him to stay. Actually she wanted him to be happy. So she chose not to cry and let him go.
During his trip on the earth，he met the fox. At that time，the little prince was looking for men. But the fox beg of him to tame her because she used to live a monotonous life and wanted to have a friend. So，since then，the little prince sat a little closer to her day by day. Thus，the little prince tamed the fox.
But the departure was coming. Hadn’t it helped her in any way？Yeah，it did help her. To each other，they had been unique in the world instead of other thousands of ordinary little boys and foxes！And to the fox，she owned the color of the Wheatfield to remind her of the happiness with the little prince.
Everything changed from the very beginning. And at last，the fox told the little prince her secret：
“It’s only with one’s heart that one can see clearly.
What is essential is invisible to the eye.”
Then he understood，it was the time he spent on his flower which made his flower so important.
We may be one of these characters in the book. The flower，the fox，or the little prince. I mean that LOVE and DEPARTURE，MISUNDERSTANDING and SUDDENLY REALIZING are equally valuable.
When loving someone，we should be brave enough. Try to make him happy even if so many tears have been added up to a deep sea.
When someone tames you，the world will be a fantastic wonderland. All other people are just alike，but only he is so unique. Because of those moments of truth，you can see the spirit in this love. Nothing can ever replace it.

I don't remember the exact year I first read The Little Prince . Though the golden snake in the book plays a cameo role , I never forget the scene that he flashed kissed gently on the little prince's ankle. It made me be afraid to reread this book.
Later, I listened a Michael Wong's song named Fairy-tale Story, the prince in his song is different from the prince in The Little Prince, the prince in the song is the same as Andersen's tales' princes, they all have happy endings.
However, I think The Little Prince is a sad story. There is a saying: There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand peoples eyes. Now, let me talk about my reading feeling. This simple story flies over every corner of the world: a pilot (the narrator) who had an accident with his plane and crashed in the Desert of Sahara then he met the little prince from the planet B-612, and the narrator listened little prince's travel experience of seven planets. On the seven planets, he met a variety of persons. They are the king, the conceited man, the businessman, the tippler, the lamplighter, the geographer and so on.
The Little Prince is a story belongs to adults who have childlike innocence.because children don't understand the little prince's deep sadness.This is not so much a fairy tale, as it is a tragedy. This story tells the grow-ups' world is full of empty，lost and loneliness with kids' perspective. Among the story, the alcoholic is impressive. He was surrounded by a pile of beer bottles when the little prince saw him, and prince asked him why he is drinking, but he answered he want to forget his shame of drinking. This short planet visit plunged little prince into deep puzzled. He think the grow-ups are certainly very, very odd. In kids' eyes, beautiful things must look with heart. But the adults pay more attention on things' appearance that is just a shell and they don't believe the eyes are blind and the heart is true.
Through this story, it also made me understand what's the love---love's more mineral, more dense, more bitter and more weighty than the earth's profoundest matter.
When I first read The Little Prince, I can't understand the mean of love and never to think why should the little prince leave alone since he love his rose so deeply. For years, I reread the story and think about it. The simple true was first love. The little prince didn't know how to love and It was difficult to make him understand the rose's heart, so it may lead to misunderstanding and hurts from time to time. He leaved his planet because he can not accept the rose and himself.
This is why the little prince don't know he have to leave : at that time, he had no idea he was in it. The little prince don't understand the meaning of tame until he met the fox later. Then he produced the endless yearning for the roses and realized his responsibility.
"Do you want to be domesticated?" For me, this is a profound question. In the book, the little prince met a fox and invited the fox to play with him, but he was refused. The fox told him that he was not tamed. “what does that mean--tame?” little prince asked. The fox answered:” it means to establish ties: to me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me , you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world.”
Gradually the little prince was beginning to understand, because he remembered his rose and he thought his rose had tamed him. So he chose to go back to his planet in the end. But to the fox, the little prince's farewell will make her sad, but the hurts because of love, she should learn to accept it gradually. I believe there are full of hurts within serious and true love.
As long as the little prince flied to different planets and met a variety of persons can he understand himself and his rose. So I think traveling is a good way to experience life.

The Little Prince is a tale for both children and adults. The Little Prince is the story of a man who crashes his airplane into the desert only to meet a traveling boy from a small planet. The boy inquires about trees and sheep, shares his journeys and various encounters, and then leaves. Yet, reading between the lines, the story offers a much more plex, eiching, satisfying and eye-opening moral: what matters in life is love - and caring about someone or something and maintaining that relationship. The prince loves his rose enough to care for it every night by protecting it with a glass globe and requesting a muzzle for his sheep. He knows that the rose is naive with only four purposeless thorns and, out of his loyalty to her, it is his duty to protect her. Likewise, the narrator loves the prince and feels an obligation to secure his safe journey home.
I read this book as a child and was infected with a sense of awe and a newfound respect for the written word and its power to touch, heal and change perception. For myself, it acplished two things; it instilled in me a desire to one day
bee a writer and touch others with my words and like the narrator of the story, and Antoine De Saint-Exupery (whose own plane crash is said to have been the basis for the tale) it instilled within me a hope that one day the Little Prince will return and someone will let me know.
What is the meaning of this tale? Easily saying is that the tale talk about many normal things like morals and principles and values from two different but successive way as children and adults. As the narrator said you can only catch adults’ attention by describing the price of something or saying the number of something. It’s hard to make adults feel lovely by the children’s beautiful describing. That is the reason why many adults believe this tale is a tale for adults.
Being insincere and utilitarian, adults consider useful and kids think sinful. Free spirit and free heart, adults consider absurd and children believe necessary. The amazing point is that these two different beliefs are held by one species--Human. When we were young, we could see anything God want us to see. But after decades, what we could see was only something we need to see.
There are so many good things for children and their imagination. And there are not so many things for adults and their reality.
